HSP began requiring appointments for research during the pandemic. They still require appointments and they tend to fill one to two months out. A research time block can be reserved for free through the www.hsp.org.
The Historical Society of PA also provides free help for genealogy researchers through its chat function on the website. Anyone can ask about the genealogical resources at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania through the link at the top of the homepage.
