Contacting and making relationships with local genealogical societies can help you in your research in PA. Each county has at least one genealogical society and historical society. Many have also formed interest groups online on Facebook.
Many of these groups offer free or low-cost online presentations to non-members. These webinars are a great way to learn about the local resources available to help your research. Becoming a member of any of these groups allows you to connect with people passionate about that county. We could all use enthusiasm and knowledge is our research!
